What is the timeline for the BPUT Hackathon?
- Registration: 16th – 19th December 2024
- Kick-off & Problem Statements: 20th December 2024
- Mid-Evaluations: 27th – 28th December 2024
- Hackathon Day: 4th and 5th January 2025
Who can participate in the BPUT Hackathon?
All students enrolled in BPUT (full-time students or research scholars) can participate. Teams of 3 to 6 members are allowed, and interdisciplinary teams are encouraged.
How will teams be evaluated during the hackathon?
- Mid-Evaluations (Pre-qualification) : Progress check, prototype demo, and feedback from mentors.
- Final Day Evaluation: Based on Innovation (30%), Technical Complexity (25%), User Experience (20%), Impact (15%), and Presentation (10%).
What are the prizes for the winners?
- 🥇 1st Place: ₹30,000 + certificates + possible internship opportunities.
- 🥈 2nd Place: ₹20,000 + certificates.
What is the Code of Conduct for participants?
Participants must maintain respect, originality, and professionalism. Plagiarism, inappropriate behavior, or harassment will result in disqualification.
